The glorification of the female body among lesbian women carries significant potential for conflict. On the one hand, attraction plays an important role in same-sex spontaneity, as the women are attracted to each other's bodies. On the other hand, they can quickly find themselves in a situation of intra-female comparative competition for sexual presentability. Lesbian sex therefore often represents a dualism between attraction and jealousy. In order to assert yourself as a woman in a seemingly never-ending struggle for the best girls, the regular acknowledgement of the respective physical attractions and the demonstration of your sexual skills through sexfights are effective means in a (superficial) relationship to demonstrate one's own worth to each other and to maintain sexual interest in one another.
