The pact is sealed and the competition can begin

Most modern Amazons pay homage to rituals that are thousands of years old before they compete sexually. This is how they ask for the favor of the goddesses and thus strength for their female weapons. The ancient myths state that the goddesses take particular delight in tribadic battles and grant the winner of such a contest a special blessing. The loser is considered branded until she regains her dignity by gaining another victory. So the primal sexfight not only had a social component to prevent bloody (civil) wars among and within the Amazon tribes, but also a religious one, since it was to be equated with a worship service. The modern Amazons honor these traditions of their ancient sisters and proclaim the belief in their way of life.
